I have been concentrating on this mix album these days. I put much energy into it as it's been 4 years since my last mix album, PLAY, PAUSE AND PLAY.
There wasn't much time for working on it since I had to go to Europe as well as playing for parties in Tokyo. It was a tight schedule and hard to keep the concentration for me, but I'm quite happy with it.
The artwork is quite special, as shown in News section of this website. It was directed by Shingo Mochino from Bugged-in Fusion. I actually wore the 200-300 years old real antique of a Japanese armor and did a photo session. The photo was upgraded by Shingo into something like an extract of a sci-fi film.
Well, I got out of Japan during those studio days and went to Granada, Spain. The venue is the one, Industrial Copera. It was a party called Flextasy and Alexander Kowalski was together. It was totally packed and the vibe was fantastic! I was taken to a hill to view Alhambra by the promoter and the Ibrico pork steak, pluma, I had at dinner was really nice. It was short and busy but a nice trip.
When I got back to Japan it was in the middle of Golden week, a big holiday week in the country. However I got back to my studio alone to finish this mix album...
The pic is KIKI, a restaurant where I had lunch looking at Alhambra on the hill.
